Our Vision

Greater cooperation, enhanced effectiveness – the Delivering as One Operations initiative between all United Nations organizations in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (oPt) seeks to transform the historically fragmented way in which UN Organizations deliver their Operations activities by creating a more unified delivery process.

The harmonization of a common framework of consistent rules and policies delivered as One UN Operations is an imperative that will reduce duplication of work and costs, enhance efficiency through the optimal use of available assets and expertise and ultimately lead to a more cohesive system that will benefit all UN organizations in oPt.

While focusing on performance, efficiency, accountability and results, it is the operational work on policy coherence and the building of an unprecedented culture of collaboration that will enable the UN system as a whole to be more responsive to the challenges faced on the ground.
